So...

For those of you who read before, you remember how I said I was auditioning for American Idol?

Well, Fox 50 (North Carolina's Fox network) held a local Idol audition at Crabtree Valley Mall yesterday (Saturday 18th August).

Their first rule was that they were only going to take the first one-hundred (100) eligible people in line to audition. By what I heard, over five hundred (500) people auditioned. Luckily, I was in the first one hundred!

Anyhow..

The Grand Prize consists of two round-trip airplane tickets to Philadelphia for a guaranteed audition with the American Idol producers, hotel fare paid-for as well. My understanding is that THAT audition, with the producers in Philadelphia, is the first of two auditions before the audition in front of Simon, Paula, and Randy, which is the THIRD audition. Make sense?

Anyway, I won.
